While my December race calendar only holds one race on it (so far) I hope yours fills up with the runs, medals and lots of holiday cheer. Here is what we have going on for the month of December:

Saturday, December 3rd:

  • 2016 Reindeer Run. This takes place through America’s Coolest Small Town– Berlin! Come join in on the fun with the race starting at 9:00 am in front of the Globe Restaurant. Berlin knows how to put on fun events and I know this one does not disappoint either! Sign up soon to secure your swag bag and shirt! To register or find out more information visit: https://raceroster.com/events/2016/10260/2016-reindeer-run

With breathtaking views of trails and beach this race does not disappoint (and either does the after party)! Act fast as the spots are filling up! To sign up visit: http://rbmarathon.com/

Sunday, December 4th:

  • OCMD Winterfest of Lights Jingle Bell 5k Run. If you like Christmas Lights and all things green, red and twinkly- you MUST sign up for this race! The race starts at 5:00 pm and runs through the Winterfest of Lights two times with a short jaunt through a nearby neighborhood. You can read my recap here from last year but know it was a really fun race for both me and little Reagan! The race fee includes a long sleeve shirt, tickets to use to take the tram through the lights (that night or a later time), as well as coffee, hot chocolate and cookies! 1. I have done the half once before. He weather is actually typically fairly good to be December. Last year I ran the race in capris with a long sleeve shirt and was comfortable! The forecast now looks like 50’s with some wind which will be great!
