2016 Fall into Fitness Playlist

It’s Courtney, back from her blogging slacking… I apologize, life has been crazy busy. I could list all that is going on, but let’s be honest – no one really wants to hear about that. What you do probably want to know is what music I have been listening to so I can get pumped up for my runs. So here is the complete 2016 Fall into Fitness Playlist:

  1. Favorite Liar – The Wrecks. I always get excited when I find curse free lyrics I can use in my classes. Guarantee this will get stuck in your head.
  2. Life Itself – Glass Animals. Great for a steady run or climb in cycling.
  3. One Dance – Drake. Literally cannot listen to this song enough. Sorry cycle fusion class, I know you are probably sick of it.
  4. My Way – Calvin Harris. Interesting story – Calvin Harris is just going to start releasing singles as they are ready. No need to wait for a full length album anymore. Do yourself a favor and go download this now.
  5. Adrenaline – Zedd. I have been on a serious EDM kick. For those of you that don’t know what EDM stands for, it’s electronic dance music. Use EDM in a sentence today with a millennial and feel cool for about 10 seconds.
  6. Back 2U (feat. Walk the Moon) – Steve Aoki & Boehm. This is a great song for sprinting in cycling.
  7. Alone – Marshmello. More EDM. I can’t help myself.
  8. Treat you Better- Shawn Mendes. I don’t know what it is about this guy – but his songs are super catchy with clean lryics – and there is 1 guy in my cycling class that goes nuts over this song sprinting his heart out – so I had to put it on my list.
  9. Gold – Kiiara. Go ahead and put this song on repeat and get lost in that treadmill workout.
  10. Bury It (feat Hayley Williams) – CHVRCHES. 2 strong female vocalists make this song.
  11. Cocoon – Catfish and the Bottlemen. Great song, just don’t play too loud around kids (bad word warning). Saw them at Firefly and they rocked it!
  12. Say My Name (feat. Zyra) {GANZ remix} – Odesza. Obsessed with this song. It’s perfect for running, cycling, and sun salutations/power yoga!
  13. Light it Up (feat Nyla & Fuse ODG) {Remix} – Major Lazer. Please, please, please download this song. It’s so catchy and makes you feel like it’s Friday at 4:30 every time you hear it. Wait, even better… Friday at 4:30 AND it’s a payday Friday. Yeah – I just went there with it – this song is that strong.

Somedays music is the only thing that gets me through a workout – and it is absolutely critical in keeping my class participants coming back for more each week. You HAVE to change it up! There is nothing worse than the same routine, same music each week. I hope you enjoy this playlist and can incorporate some of my favorites into your runs, walks, or even classes.
