Fall in Love: Garmin 235

face it

You might have now noticed that I have a favorite, wear all the time accessory: Garmin Forerunner 235. It is the star in most of my pictures, whether it be a Stitch Fix (sign up for Stitch Fix here:  review or a race photo. I spent A LOT of time reading reviews, stalking prices on multiple different websites and finally decided that it was time to buy the Garmin 235. I knew that if I was going to spend the money to buy a GPS watch, I wanted it to have all the features and of course be cute!

Shortly after my Garmin arrived on my doorstep I knew it was for me. It was very easy to use, it had features like wrist-based heart rate tracking, worked as a fitness tracker and counted steps, was customizable with different watch faces (and now the addition of using you own pictures), and only needed to be charged around once a week.

It didn’t take long for my mother runner friends to see just how obsessed I was to start checking the Garmin 235 out for themselves. Within the first week of having my newest favorite accessory, 3 friends promptly bought the same one! A few months later I was able to convince a few more to jump on the Garmin train.

Along with all the customizable features on the watch, you can also get tons and tons of stats through the Garmin Connect App. You can add friends that also wear a Garmin device, check out your sleep stats (if you wear your watch/device to bed), look at your steps for the day, check out your training calendar, view your activities (maps, mile splits, ect), and comment and like your friends activities. There are SO many more features on the app but these are the ones I use the most.

After having my Garmin 235 for almost 4 full months now I am happy to say I have 100% gotten my monies worth. I really do love this watch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a GPS + every day watch. I love that it gives me a recovery advisor, keeps track of my milestones (longest run, fastest mile, ect) and reminds me to get up and move if I have been sitting around too long. I do now have a slight obsession with the Vivomove for days I want to be a little more dressy but hey a girl needs items for a Christmas List right? So Santa if you are reading this I would love the white with rose gold, thanks!

If you are interested in a Garmin 235 check out their website for more details and all the technical stuff:

*disclaimer- this post is NOT SPONSERED in any way, shape or form. I paid full price for this watch and would do it all over again! All opinions and love of this watch are completely my own.

  1. I love the Garmin 230. I have that version because when I thought about it, the heart rate feature really isn’t that important to me so I went with the other version. But I agree: I love all the features and how easy it is to use. And it’s much better than my old Nike watch with battery!
