The Last Football Sunday with MealEnders

It’s a sad day here in my household. With both me and my husband’s favorite football teams (the Ravens and the Eagles) out of the playoffs – we are really just watching football today because it will be the last game we will see our teams play in for several months. Looking at the positive side of things – we will now have no reason to sit in front of the TV for a few hours on Sunday! (Yay for more time for more miles!) Before our football season came to an official end – I had to step up my culinary skills with one final football Sunday meal. I use lots of veggies, freshly frozen tomatoes from my garden this past summer, and some dehydrated jalapenos and hot peppers that I grew. Lots of quality ingredients in my chili. Jimmy will stuff himself with multiple bowls, lay on the couch, and then complain how it’s my fault that I am such a good cook and that is why he overeats. Well friends, today will be different.
